Richard wanted to become a lawyer because he wanted to help others. The thought of being there for people has always been an appeal of his, and when it comes to the law, his mindset and his desire to learn make him an exceptional attorney. Outside the legal realm, Richard enjoys running, programming websites and applications, exploring the Triangle Area in North Carolina and spending time with his friends and family.Richard focuses his time and energy helping those in the small business world through his skills as general outside counsel.

Throughout his life, Richard has scarcely been without a new topic to learn. Whether it is details about a client’s business or a useful skill, Richard tries to keep his mind finely tuned at all times. One of his most enjoyable tasks was learning American Sign Language. In 2010, he began learning and now enjoys the occasional conversation with those who are fluent or just learning like him.

When it comes to loyalty and dedication, this firm is second to none. Any attorney can write a will, but Richard keeps you on his mind. If you start a business, Richard can file the proper papers for you and then continue to think of ways to improve your business or make introductions to those he knows who can bring value to your company. When you buy into this firm, you buy more than just a piece of paper. You buy a relationship with a trusted, skilled, adviser.

Because we feel that those who are exceptional should use their skills to help others, Richard continues to find ways to help low-income individuals, nonprofit corporations, and those with disabilities where he can, and he continues to do this work pro bono.
